4.5.2010 | Men's Crew, Women's Crew
The Maritime crew team began its 2010 spring season at the Murphy Cup in Philadelphia, Pa. the weekend of April 3-4. The regatta was hosted by Temple University and was a change to show the squad where it stood following weeks of winter training.

4.22.2008 | Men's Crew
PHILADELPHIA- PA (April 19, 2008): The Privateer Men’s Team traveled to the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania early this morning to participate in the Kerr Cup sponsored by Drexel University. The Kerr Cup is the Colonial Athletic Association Championship’s and Coach Rick Smith wanted to get his men fast competition to gauge their performance and improvement to date.  The team was to compete in the Men’s Novice four, Novice eight and Varsity four events.

4.22.2008 | Men's Crew

PHILADELPHIA, PA- The SUNY Maritime Men’s Crew team participated at yesterday’s 26th Annual Murphy Cup Regatta on the Schuylkill River sponsored by Temple University. The 40day consisted of wind, sun, a strong current and 17 events. The 2000 meter sprint from bridge to bridge along Kelly Drive proved to be a challenge for the privateers.

The Maritime College crew team has given several stellar performances this season, but this past weekend at the Head of the Occoquan we excelled with two first place wins and five boats overall medaling.

Throggs Neck, NY – On a beautiful fall day at Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, PA the Maritime men’s and women’s crew teams closed out the fall season at the Frostbite Regatta where the women’s novice four captured first place and the men’s team had one second place and two third place finishes on the day.

Athletes of the Week
Keith Barnes
Football
Barnes was named ECFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 1 after he was all over the field Thursday night in the Privateers' 15-12 season-opening win over rival Mass. Maritime in the Fourth Annual Chowder Bowl, recording a game-high 17 tackles (14 solo and 3 assisted), including one for a loss of eight yards. He is no stranger to ECFC Defensive Player of the Week nods, as he earned the accolade a conference-best three times during the season in 2009.

Women's Soccer
Trenkamp was named to the Skyline Conference women's soccer honor roll for the first week of the season after she recorded the first two goals of the season for the Pirvateers in their loss at Southern Maine on Sunday.
