THROGS NECK, NY - Tied at 29 after the first half of play, the Bearcats outscored Maritime 36-31 in the final half to give the Privateers their first home loss of the season.  The win moves Baruch to 9-2 overall on the season, while the Privateers fall to 4-3.

THROGS NECK, NY - A ten point halftime advantage proved not enough for the Maritime Privateers, as the Yeshiva Maccabees overcame the deficit to tie the game on a last second three point shot, and send the game into overtime.  The Privateers were outscored 15-12 in the extra stanza, as the Maccabees improved to 5-4 (3-3).  Maritime's loss puts them at 4-2 (2-1) heading into the Holiday break.

THROGS NECK, NY - The SUNY Maritime Privateers defeated the Conference Champion and pre-season favorite Farmingdale State with an 84-73 victory at home.  The Privateers are now 4-1 (2-0) while Farmingdale dropped to 4-2 (1-1).  The win is Maritime's first against Farmingale State in more than 5 years.

THROGS NECK, NY - Stifling defense was Maritime's key to success in the second half, holding the visiting Bulldogs to 28 points and forcing 6 turnovers enroute to a 95-61 home victory.  The Privateers improved to 3-1 on the season going into this weekend's matchup with Farmingdale State.  Berkeley still seeks their first win at 0-7.
